In December we had the pleasure of hosting at our venue, Warehouse Assemblage @ The Orbit, a corporate event for Temenos, which was combined with an interactive wine workshop, presented by George Kanopoulos.
For the first time we decided to differentiate Warehouse CO2 from the other Warehouse venues with a set of coffees by Wisecup Coffee Roasters, which we called the Luxurious Coffee Project.

A vertical tasting of El Enemigo Chardonnay 2014-2020 took place at Warehouse Assemblage on Wednesday 15th of March.
A whisky tasting with great labels took place at Warehouse Assemblage on Tuesday 1st of November. The Spirits Specialist of Trinity Wines, Petros Charizopoulos, made the presentation.

A food session exclusively for street food lovers took place on Monday 23/05 at Line Athens. Chefs Vassilis Geogleris and Andreas Nikolakopoulos prepared street food options with a twist, an idea that characterizes our menus.

On Sunday, March 13, 2022, the Warehouse team welcomed at Warehouse Assemblage the members of the Association of Greek Sommeliers for their General Assembly, the election of the new board, as well as the Vasilopita -New Year’s cake- cutting.
The Meet Market took place at Palio Amaxostasio O.SY. in Gazi on December 2021 and Warehouse was there! The Warehouse team participated in the event from 10/12 to 19/12 in a completely festive mood with selected labels from Greek & foreign vineyards and finger foods that pair perfectly with wine!

Our Youtube channel hosts the 1st session of the project “Warehouse and Friends”. In the first session, George Kanopoulos and George Alexiou met Sakis Papadopoulos and Nikos Daditsios at the cellar of Warehouse in Exarchia.
The exhibition took place from July 1 to September 1 and dealt with issues related to consciousness, sometimes through the prism of psychoanalysis and sometimes through the process of self-knowledge.

All whisky lovers who participated had the opportunity to enjoy a whisky tasting of 5 rare whiskies paired with finger food and desserts.
After the tribute to Malagousia we challenged rose from Xinomavro! Warehouse in Exarchia hosted a wine tasting of some exceptional samples of this unique variety.
We tasted and rated 11 wines that can pair with food all times of the year.

Warehouse, Wisecup Coffee Roasters and Loveramics Greece & Cyprus participated in this year’s Chocolate Festival 2019 that took place in the Οld Depot OSY 17-20th of October with 54.000 visitors!
With an important presence in the largest exhibitor’s stand our visitors enjoyed chocolate creations with Valrhona chocolate, speciality coffee and sweet wines.

The open water swimmers enjoyed the creations of our chef Vassilis Geogleris who prepared a mouthwatering finger food menu especially for this night.
Malagousia, the “Cinderella” of Greek grape varieties as they call it and the fastest Greek variety in demand, opened the doors of Warehouse for everyone who would like to take part in a tasting of up to 14 labels.
Professionals and wine lovers had the opportunity to taste 7 or 14 samples of 35ml of Malagousia at Warehouse from various producers from all over Greece!
We love arts and we want to honor all artists that choose and support Warehouse.
So we decided to sponsor the Athens performances for the theatrical play Phedre of Racine in direction of Efi Theodorou.
The all-day Seaside Foodbar Petalo which is located at the west side of the port of Symi, on Daniel coast, first opened in June 2017.
Since then and for the next 2 summers, the Warehouse team was there in order to undertake a demanding and interesting project.
In the summer of 2019, Warehouse has taken over the design and implementation of the Petalo menu, as well as the venue’s operation.
Vassilis Geogleris created the food menu, Wisecup Coffee Roasters and George Loukas were in charge of the coffee menu and George Kanopoulos was responsible for the wine list, cocktails and operations. As part of our consulting, we also trained the restaurant staff in service, food & wine pairing and supplies management.
In August the Warehouse team travelled to Samos, at Blue Roots, for a very interesting collaboration.
Our team edited the coffee and juices menu of this unique grocery/coffee shop, in Pythagoras Square, and trained the staff to enable them to offer the best possible service to its customers.
At Blue Roots, we were responsible for consulting on, selecting and supplying speciality coffees from Wisecup Coffee Roasters.
It was a great pleasure to have had the chance to work with people who have a vision and are passionate about promoting traditional Greek products.
The Warehouse team has collaborated with the staff of Marilion, which is located in Mikros Gialos, Lefkada, completely remodelling this restaurant-beach bar.
We created new coffee, food, drink and wine lists complementing the restaurant’s menu that features traditional recipes and special dishes, while we also worked on costing and pricing the restaurant’s products.
We have restructured many of the restaurant’s main functions to achieve the best possible result that would leave even the most demanding visitor absolutely satisfied. These changes, combined with the training of Marilion’s staff and the active management of the venue through our associates for the whole summer season, worked very positively and enhanced the restaurant’s uniqueness. We accomplished the above by choosing the business’ product suppliers.
The responsibility for the coffee has been taken on by Wisecup Coffee Roasters, who supply Marilion with single origin coffees that have an extremely full flavor, and strong and long lasting aroma.

At the 3rd Athens Food Market – Xmas edition Dec 21st to Dec 31st, the Warehouse team participated serving new and old recipes, speciality coffee by Wisecup Coffee Roasters, our favorite wines from our cellar, hot gluwhein, holiday mood, smiles and wishes from the heart! Cretan pasta with smoked pancetta, brioche with porchetta and coleslaw, gnocchi with cheese cream and steak picanha sandwich are some of the menu options hosted by our festival canteen. On Saturday December 23rd at the Food Market cooking seminars our chef Vassilis Geogleris with Warehouse’s co-owner and head sommelier Giorgos Kanopoulos gave a cooking and wine pairing seminar called “Breakfast, lunch, wine, somewhere in between”. The recipes included dishes for all times of the day with the suitable wines for a great taste pairing. The audience participated with excitement and bombarded us with questions about Warehouse, the food recipes and the secrets of smart wine pairing at home!
Marc-Andre Hugel visited Warehouse, to introduce us to the wines of the house of Famille Hugel
The wine tasting was attended by some of the most prominent wine professionals and tasters. The workshop included 6 wines of the Alsace estate, namely: Riesling Classic 2015, Riesling Estate 2013, Riesling Grossi Laüe 2011, Gewurztraminer Classic 2014, Gewurztraminer Estate 2013, Gewurztraminer Vendange Tardive 2006. We combined the wines with cheese and cold cuts platters, tuna tartare, marinated salmon. The story of Famille Hugel goes back in 1639 and since then the business remains, for almost 400 years, in family hands! The house is probably the top Alsace wine producer whose wines are currently exported in more than 100 countries.

After TOMs founder’s speech at Benaki Museum a party was thrown in his honor at Warehouse by TOMs Greece with the presence of media, celebrities and good friends. Warehouse’s chef prepared a menu especially for the night, which included cold dishes, finger food but also hot appetizers. Marinated shrimp sticks, smoked trout with baby potato and Cretan rusks with tomato and cheese were a couple of finger food taste combinations that Warehouse’s chef presented at the party.
Vassilis Kyritsis was the guest bartender for the night and created the signature cocktail “TOMs Sour”.
In a private event for hospitality professionals we tasted the 6 types of Valrhona Chocolate Grand Crus.
It was a unique chocolate tasting and exploration of its taste combinations. The 1st part of the presentation included combinations of Valrhona with beer by Beer Sommelier Christos Siomos from Genius in Gastronomy. In the 2nd part George Loukas, accredited Greek Sommelier and wine trainer, guided our guests through combinations of every type of chocolate with wines, among which Gerovassiliou Syrah 2008 and Torres 5 Brandy Solera Reserva. Finally our Giorgos Loukas took over the 3rd part of the presentation combining Valrhona with various speciality coffees from around the world.
With an invitation sent to some of the most accredited wine professionals and tasting experts we decided to challenge…Malagousia.
We tasted 13 wines representative of the Malagousia variety from around Greece. More specifically: Kikones Estate ’13, Argyriou ’14, Matsa Estate ’14, Alexandra Claudia Papagianni ’14, Techni ’14, Kalogeri Papagiannakou ’14, Tetramythos ’14, Antonopoulos ’14, Kindonis ’14, Mylonas ’14, Porto Karras ’14, Lykos Winery ’14, Gerovassileiou Estate ’14. It was a blind tasting and we shared our experiences, comments and comparative remarks. The target was to train ourselves through a group tasting and enjoy the special characteristics of each wine.
Warehouse is now open!
Our opening night was celebrated with all our friends, old and new ones. Giorgos Argitakis played 33′ and 45′ vinyl records including swing’n’roll, east coast blues and boogie sounds, wine and cocktails were flowing and the party went on until the first morning hours. We welcomed our friends with treat of a glass of Prosecco and finger food: baby potatoes stuffed with Xigalo cheese and smoked herring, bread sticks wrapped with prosciutto, potato velvet soup with truffle oil, bruschetta with chicken liver pâté.
